folliq is a hair-analysis app. Your photos, profile, and results are stored on your device. We have no servers that store your data, no user accounts, no advertising, and we never sell your information.
We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or device identifiers, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
When AI analysis is enabled, the specific photos you submit for a scan are sent to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude model) to generate your results for that request. Those photos are processed to return your analysis and are subject to Anthropic's privacy practices (anthropic.com/legal/privacy). If AI analysis is not enabled, all processing happens on your device and no photos leave it.
folliq Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. Subscriptions are managed and can be cancelled in your Apple ID settings. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
If you enable reminders, folliq schedules local notifications on your device to nudge your routine. These are generated on-device and are not sent through any server.
Because your data lives on your device, you can remove all of it at any time by deleting the app. There is no separate account to close and nothing for us to delete on a server.
folliq is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
folliq provides educational, non-medical estimates and guidance. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or treatment. Consult a dermatologist or trichologist for medical concerns.
